The climb to Mount Epomeo and its summit, where you can enjoy a spectacular view of the island, is quite demanding and is recommended for the more experienced climbers. In fact, during the climb, there will be various stops to explore topics linked to the vegetation, the houses made from blocks of tuff stone and the church of San Nicola, located on the top of the mountain.

There is a less demanding and shorter climb to Mount Epomeo, just to admire the nature of the places and the landscape, which can be enjoyed from the summit. The most unique experience is cooking food under the sand. You will always remember the delicious aroma of eggs and vegetables being extracted from the boiling hot sand, a stone’s throw from the sea.
