To reach the port of Naples by car, at the “Napoli” tollbooth exit, drive on for about 12 km and take the ring road in the Pozzuoli direction. Take the Via Campana exit and follow the signs for the port. Ferries depart from the port of Pozzuoli to Ischia Porto and Casamicciola. Alternatively, at the “Napoli” tollbooth exit, follow the signs for “Napoli Zona Portuale” and then those for “Calata Porta di Massa”, where ferries depart for Ischia Porto and Casamicciola. To take the car on board, you need the vehicle registration certificate and an identity document for the driver.
How to get to Naples by plane? Easy! In fact, the main airlines land at Naples Capodichino International Airport. From here, you can reach Porta di Massa and Molo Beverello by taxi or using the Alibus service (tickets can be purchased on board).
Once you reach Naples Central Station in Piazza Garibaldi, you can choose to take underground train line 2 to the “Municipio” stop where you can easily reach Molo Beverello on foot (hydrofoils to Ischia Porto, Casamicciola and Forio). Alternatively, you can take a taxi or a bus directly from the station (tickets can be purchased at the station) to get to Porta di Massa (ferries to Ischia Porto and Casamicciola).
After arriving in Naples by ship, the easiest option is to take the first ferry or hydrofoil available to Ischia and departing from the same port. Hydrofoils depart from the Molo Beverello to Ischia Porto, Casamicciola and Forio. Ferries depart from the port of Massa to Ischia Porto and Casamicciola.
A private and shared transfer service is available for hotel guests. Guests are picked up directly at Naples airport or station and taken to the hotel. For shared transfers you will travel by car/minibus with other people, while for private transfers a driver will pick up guests and transport them by private saloon car. In both cases, guests will be accompanied to the port of Naples where they will board for Ischia. In Ischia, a second driver will be waiting to take them to the hotel.
